Increasingly rigorous demands are being made of cargo handling and ship operations with regard to automation, labor saving and safety.
For water ballast tank level gauging, fresh water tanks, fuel oil tanks and draft gauging, this has resulted in the need for higher reliability and better accuracy.
Responding to these demands, MUSASINO has introduced the LEVEL PASCAL, a hydro-static pressure type that draws upon our long experience with LEVEL MASTER, magnetic float type level gauge.
Major components of LEVEL PASCAL are the pressure sensor, special type cable, steel deck/bulkhead penetration piece, junction box, electronic circuit and indicator.
The pressure of the liquid in the tank being measured acts upon the diaphragm of the detector at tank bottom. Which converts it into an electrical signal via a semi-conductor type strain gauge for transmission to an indicator. |
